Anyone built their own sump before?

I know that it's relatively simple and I'm looking for plans and ideas

mine is very basic, took a 30g i had laying around, went to ace hardware and had glass inserts cut and silconed into place. currently planning a bigger sump with an area for grow out of future frags. the other change I am going to make is more baffles to seperate bubbles before the return pump.( over under over under, if that makes sense) maybe even go acrylic
